    InterNetWork Marketing

Friday, August 1, 2008, 09:16 PM MST [Internet]

At http://owenwalcher.com/otc Internet Marketing meets Network Marketing.

No longer bound by the 3 foot rule (anyone within 3 feet of you is a potential customer), Internet Marketing brings a whole new spin to Network Marketing (aka MLM)

Occupy The City has come up with a great strategy to make everyone successful in Netowrk Marketing:

    1. Apply the Team concept so everyone does one thing well, and the group works synergistically to cover all the tasks

    2. Work with multiple MLM companies, so all your eggs are not in one basket, which dissolves when that company goes under or alters the payment plan.

    3. Exploit Internet Marketing strategies to convert from a push to a pull strategy, where you can presell your customers and use attraction marketing to find those interested in starting their own home-based business.

Man vs. Woman - saying the same thing from a different point of view

Friday, July 18, 2008, 10:59 AM MST [General]

I read Erika's Technology Goddess post about Yahoo/Microsoft, and posted an alternate storyline.

It is amazing how different men think from women, even when we are saying the same thing.

Just got back from a quick summer vacation/  visit to some of the schools inteh US system.

My daughter thinks she want to go to UCSD, and with out of state tuition, it is over $45K a year!  And they brag that over 80% of their students grduate withing 5 years.  That is right, a quarter of a million dollars to get my daugheter a bachelor's degree!

Three months net income for each year of college.  And in two years, I have another child entereing the college system.  All the sudden making $1M a year is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

Folders or Subdomains- which are better?

Sunday, May 18, 2008, 04:58 PM MST [Internet]

I just buit out a new blog page for myself here:

    http://goldenboar.com/owenwalcher/

It is a folder on a PR5 blog. I will be rolling out another blog next week on another PR5 blogging platform, but it will take the format of owenwalcher.PR5domain.org

If I post to them both regularly, and promote them both the same, which one will have the higher PR in Google's next update?

Let me know your thoughts, anbd I will report back in a couple months.

    Loving Krakken

Saturday, April 12, 2008, 01:39 PM MST [Internet]

I am loving the Krakken version of ThemeZoom.

It runs much faster, and gives tighter results.  I am getting some unexpected results in the "competing webistes" for a couple of my terms (think eye opening!), but overall it is much nicer than before (not that the other Zoom application is bad, it is just that this is much better).

    Way to go team!

    SEO Tools

Friday, April 11, 2008, 09:03 AM MST [Internet]

Have you heard about Traffic Kahuna?  It is a memberships site [full disclosure - I run the site] that is chock full of SEO tools, to help you get more quality backlinks to your web properties.

We will be opening the doors next week, but you can get your name on the list to be notified ahead of time if you want.

Applications included in TK include: 3-way link exchange, article exchange, blog feeder (over 500 blogs in the system, with a simple interface that lets you post or drip content to 30 at a time), a PR5 blogging platform where you get a folder, and the Web 2 COOP - a way to do tasks and earn points to have tasks done for you (stuff like vote on my squidoo lens, digg an article, etc.)

I built a Traffic Kahuna Squidoo Lens here, that helps you find out more.

As a freebie enticement, you can download a free copy of Comment Kahuna here as well.  This will get you on the notification list.  Comment Kahuna is a desktop tool that finds blogs in your category where you can post comments, and get more backlink love.

    What do you all think?

It's difficult. 'Traffic' is a convenient word, like any cliche. It just masks what is really happening. Real people on their own buying cycle.

Maybe I'm just being too post-modern.

    Hi Owen,

Thanks for the advice. I managed to source someone that seems to know what they are doing. Great point about the audio though. Once my site is live I will look into it a bit more.

    hope that you are o.k.
